Mediating between the public and private realms of the city, this sculpture forms the entry to a residential, hotel and retail development along three blocks of Ocean Boulevard. Recalling the roller coasters of the historical amusement park which once dominated the city skyline, a four hundred foot arbor dips and soars between the boulevard and the new development framing the public space of Victory Park. Large lighting sculptures comprised of stainless steel and woven fiber optic cables flank the entry and highlight a new retail environment.
