Commemorating the history of the streetcar and classic bungalow architecture in Minneapolis, this bronze sculpture, located in the roof of the 38th St. Station, is a picture of changing urbanism. Through the inter-city connection of the new Hiawatha Light Rail line, a circle is drawn between the history of flight from the city to the suburbs, when streetcar transportation was abandoned, to the return of living and working in the city and the reestablishment of public transportation through light rail.
