Corous gathers the feelings and images of the two buildings that form the main quad of this portion of the Moses Cone Hospital campus. Resting between the Women’s and Children’s Center and the Heart and Vascular Center, Corous is the embodiment of the aspirations of these two divisions of the Cone Health System. It is an image that can identify Cone’s efforts towards preventative medicine within its community and the continuing care provided to the community that began with the philanthropy of the Cone Family.
